Orvis Affordable - NBK Caddis Dry

When sixth-generation Montana angler Bubba Smith needed a pattern that would fish well in heavy water and still fool wary spring creek fish, he created the NBK Caddis—this foam-body parachute caddis dry fly features an extended body and CDC wing to ensure it rides high and dry even in rough riffles. Named after world champion MMA fighter Carlos "natural born killer" Condit, the NBK Caddis can be fished as a traditional dry or skated across the surface to imitate an egg-laying caddis.
