Orvis Best Seller - The Worm

Whether they want to admit it or not, nearly every angler has some form of worm fly tucked away in the depths of their fly box. With a tungsten head for proper water-column drop and tempting, wiggly silicone material, this pattern is a modern iteration of the classic San Juan Worm. Red midge larvae thrash about as they swim, offering a fluxing, worm-like profile that fish can't seem to resist. Answer that natural instinct with the life-like motion of this pattern.

Red; size 8.
