Orvis Budget Friendly - Whalley's Best Bet

Whalley’s Best Bet is the baitfish fly pattern to turn to when nothing else works. Capt. Ben Whalley created this pattern to dart and dive like a wounded baitfish. Keel-weighted and tied onto a 60-degree jig hook, Whalley’s Best Bet tempts strikes out of the most stand-offish stripers and nearly anything else that eats.
